Abbreviations used in UPSEE/AKTU

Finding it difficult to understand the acronyms used in upsee, then you are lucky enough to be here.

I will tell you what do different categories mean.

GN = General

BC = Backward Class

SC = Scheduled Cast

ST = Scheduled Tribe

Huh, these were common, there are high chances that you know them, but here are the perks.

OP = Open

GL = Girl

PH = Physically Handicapped

AF =  Sons or Daughters of defense personnel of U.P. either retired (superannuated) or killed or disabled 

in action or defense personnel posted in U.P./defence personnel domicile of U.P. & posted outside U.P.

FF =Freedom Fighter (Son/Daughter/Dependent upon)

A Solution to the Shortcut Virus

There are a lot of viruses crawling on the web, one such piece is popularly known as Shortcut Virus. Today, I am providing you with a way to deal with it. To begin with, you should know that what it does to your computer.

So basically, this malicious program gets automatically activated when you plug in a removable storage, then it makes a new folder and renames it with a special character (Alt + 0160).

Now it cuts all the content in the storage and puts it in the created folder (Along with itself with some weird random name). 

Now it does the trickiest part, it changes the attributes of the folder to Hidden & System File. So that the windows recognize the content as system file does not show it.

How to access your files

1. Go to My Computer and click on  Tools. (You can press Alt once if don't see it).

2. Click on Folder Options.

3. Click on View tab.

4. Click on "Show hidden files, folders & drive".

5. Now move down a little and uncheck the option "Hide protected operating system files" and click on Yes when it displays a warning.

  

Now your files are accessible.

The Easy Way:-

You can also do it my way. 

Plug in your device. Open it, now hold down Shift and Right click.

Select "Open Command windows here";

Now type in  attrib /s -h -s -r * and press Enter. And You are done.

Tekken 3 - Two Player Mode

This is basically a setup to automate the process needed for setting

up two player mode on a single keyboard on windows PC. It normally takes upto 10 minutes 

to configure the settings when one has full knowledge of it.

How To Get Started : -

When you start the Start_Two_Players.bat for the first time. It won't work as expected.

So You have to first start the Set_Two_Players.bat to get the things at the right place.

Run the Set_Two_Players.bat and let it do its work (2-3 seconds normally).

Now run the Start_Two_Players.bat and Enjoy !

I have also included my save file which has all the modes and players unlocked. You can

load by clicking on the File -> Load State -> (head over to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX0\saves) "save file teken 3.psv"

and click Open.
